Mirissa is a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in the Matara District of the Southern Province. It is approximately 150 kilometres south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 4 metres above sea level. Mirissa's beach and nightlife make it a popular tourist destination. It is also a fishing port and one of the island's main whale and dolphin watching locations.

Whale Watching Mirissa is one of the world's best places to see Blue Whales, the largest animals on earth. Sperm whales, fin whales, and pods of dolphins are also frequently spotted. Boat tours depart early morning from the harbor.

Coconut Tree Hill A private coconut estate with a high cliff overlooking the ocean, Coconut Tree Hill is one of the most Instagrammed spots in Sri Lanka. The view of the ocean through the coconut grove is simply stunning, especially at sunset.

Secret Beach Secret Beach is a small, secluded beach tucked away from the main strip. It's a bit of a hike to get there, but the calm waters and peaceful atmosphere make it worth the effort.
